For LILA'S VOW
I hope you have enjoyed my website and the excerpts from my books.
Now, a little bit about me. I am the mother of two wonderful children, Scott and Elaine, and have a great son-in-law, Kurt. Now I am also a grandmother to Ben and Kate, Elaine and Kurt's beautiful children. I am truly blessed to have all of them healthy and living fairly close.
If you want to know where I get my inspiration for romance, you need look no further than my husband, Ed. He is the one true love of my life and my biggest supporter. We have been married for 34 wonderful years and look forward to many more.
As a graduate of Cook College at Rutgers University in New Jersey (I was Diane Bauer back then), I originally wanted to be a veterinarian, but my life took a different direction, and I eventually became a technical writer and now a romance writer as well.
I have two sisters, Dolores, my twin, and my younger sister, Susan. Both sisters live in Pennsylvania. As a result I have spent plenty of time in their fair state and it seemed like the perfect state for my heroes in "Jenny's Passion" (formerly "My Enemy, My Love") and "Lila's Vow" to claim as their home with its historical past and wonderful scenery.
My historical romance, "Secrets and Sacrifices", boasts a hero from my own town of Havre de Grace, Maryland and some scenes from nearby Ft. Delware that will raise the hair on your arms! These two books are also available in bundled ebook form in "Daughters of the Civil War."
"Adam's Treasure" was written along the lines of Dan Brown's books with a puzzle to solve, but set during the post Civil War period.
My newest releases are medieval romances set in Scotland. The Graham family are falconers. They train and use peregrine falcons to hunt. When the English attack Dunnottar Castle, the Grahams are entrusted with Scotland's regalia and must hide the ancient crown, sword, and sceptre in a race for their lives. Check out Book One, "Besieged" and Book Two, "Hunted".
I also tried a contemporary romantic suspense with "Outlaw Lover," which draws on my experiences when my husband raced sprint cars in our younger days.
If historical romances are not for you, how about fantasy? Come for a time of magic and nonstop adventure with the Mark of the Magician series: Book One, Moonlight and Illusions, Book Two, Magic of the Pentacle, and Book Three, Magic at the Roxy.
